FINDING SUPPORT
I feel completely alone. Who can I talk to?
When it feels like there is nobody to call, professional and community support can still be an option. You deserve to be heard.
Tell someone what this moment is like
A trusted person, a health professional, or a moderated support service may be a starting point. ‘I’m struggling and I need someone to listen’ is enough to begin.
Support is available now
In the United States and its territories, call or text 988, or use the chat at 988lifeline.org. The service provides free, confidential emotional support, 24 hours a day. You do not need to be suicidal to reach out. Outside the U.S., contact a local crisis or emotional support service. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
A small thing to try
If talking feels difficult, you can start with: ‘I don’t know where to begin. I feel very alone and I need some support right now.’
